The First Tech Federal Credit Union tenant improvement project in Bellevue, WA, involved a 2,000-square-foot space on the first floor of the newly constructed Tower 555 building. Completed in December 2024, this $250k project required an accelerated schedule to meet the client’s needs. Teknon Electrical Services successfully executed the electrical installation, ensuring the space was functional, energy-efficient, and compliant with Washington State Energy Code.
The scope of work included installing new feeders from the existing switchboard to the tenant’s electrical room, as well as a 75kVA transformer and a 200A branch panel. Teknon also provided infrastructure support for the security contractor, including pathways and materials for in-wall and ceiling installations. New energy-efficient lighting systems and controls were integrated, alongside the seamless addition of fire alarm devices into the existing system. The team coordinated extensively with the landlord and other stakeholders to ensure reliable operation and compliance across all systems.
