Job Summary:
As the Warehouse Manager for Teknon, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for managing inventory, overseeing fleet operations, maintaining tools and equipment, and coordinating deliveries to support our projects and operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records of electrical and low voltage systems equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Monitor stock levels, anticipate demand, and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate supply.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses and optimize stock turnover.
- Fleet Management:
- Oversee the company’s fleet of vehicles, including trucks and vans used for deliveries and transportation of materials.
- Schedule regular maintenance and inspections to ensure the safety and reliability of vehicles.
- Coordinate with drivers to optimize routes and ensure timely deliveries to project sites.
- Tools and Equipment Management:
- Manage the allocation, maintenance, and tracking of tools and equipment used by field personnel.
- Implement systems for tool check-in/check-out, repair, and replacement as necessary.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Deliveries and Logistics:
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including receiving, inspecting, and organizing deliveries.
- Work closely with project managers and field supervisors to prioritize and schedule deliveries to meet project timelines.
- Ensure that all deliveries are accurately documented and processed in a timely manner.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and best practices within the warehouse facility.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies regarding safety, security, and environmental standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Conduct warehouse weekly safety meetings, presenting the weekly subject(s) and informing the team of potential hazards.
Minimum Requirements
- 2 years of warehouse management experience.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems.
- Experience in tools management and coordinating deliveries.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- High School or equivalent education.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
Pay Rate:
$28.00 – $35.00/hr
