About

Teknon Infrastructure Services proudly announces the successful completion of Wilburton Elementary for the Bellevue School District, a groundbreaking project involving the construction of a new elementary school with a compact and accelerated schedule. The electrical component of the project amounted to $5.5 million. This modern educational facility, spanning 82,000 square feet, was designed by BLRB Architects and built by Edifice Construction in collaboration with Teknon. Housing approximately 650 students from preschool through fifth grade, Wilburton Elementary serves the downtown and Wilburton areas, offering a contemporary and conducive environment for learning.

Notably, Wilburton Elementary stands out as the first school in the Bellevue School District to be built from the ground up since the 1970s. Its innovative design, taking advantage of the natural slope on the property, prioritizes natural light in classrooms and provides additional open learning spaces for small group instruction. The facility also includes essential amenities such as a playground, an all-weather field, and a well-designed 41-car drop-off/pick-up line, showcasing a commitment to minimizing the impact on surface streets. Teknon’s contribution to this project underscores our dedication to delivering advanced and sustainable solutions that positively impact the learning environment.
